On Friday, July 1, 2016 the Wasatch County Arts Council will open up the 2016/2017 Arts Grant cycle by making applications available online.
The WCAC’s goal is to transform Wasatch County into a premiere destination for the arts by providing additional funding to our visual and performing arts organizations and individuals. By providing these grants we hope it allows our arts community to stretch their limited dollars further. Needs that were previously out of reach due to lack of funding are now within reach. With more funding comes greater opportunities.
Last year the arts council was able to help fund six different arts projects ranging from licensing for music, to equipment, to funds for events. This year the arts council will be allocating $6,500 through a competitive grant process. Interested parties can download an application from our website. Applications are due August 1, by 5 pm to 475 N Main Heber City.
Funding for this year’s grant cycle has been contributed by the Wasatch County Council.
